Hey I wrote this below on Tyler's post-
Idea- maybe every other day or every couple days we should keep each other updated on stuff through an "update" post, where anyone who wants to share can? Or have ongoing weekly prayer requests/ updates post, where anyone can write down brief requests, as needed... or ask about how anyone is doing?
What do you all think? My idea is that it could be a place where we can see where everyone is at, briefly, and know how to pray. And people can still make longer posts , etc, whenever they want or need to?
This way no one falls through the cracks... and we can keep each other updated.
We could start here...? any thoughts...?

Pray for me that I would have courage/ confidence and make sense when I talk to my ex-church friends about why we left the IC. Naturally they question/ judge what I'm doing and even my motives. It's not easy talking to them. But I want to love well, yet be strong.
this is a good idea, manuela, thanks for bringing it up. it has been on my heart as well, but i don't want to hog all the posts, you know? i'm not the only one in the Kitchen... :-)
the thought i had would be to use some sort of "labels" system. but i am hardly a tech guy. there may be a simpler way someone else can devise.
i wish i had some advice for you in talking with your friends, manuela. i guess i do. don't be an ass. it can be hard to not feel judged and come off as little extra closed off and defensive. i know i had that problem, and i would pray anyone be spared the consequences of that.
speak with love. and only share what you are sure of. don't be afraid to say, "i don't know" if that is the truth. many times people want answers, and you might not have them. it's okay. eventually, the answers will come. and if you've been able to maintain the friendships, you will be able to articulate yourself and thoughts/experiences better.
i commend you for being willing to dialogue with them. i will pray on your behalf. thank you for sharing your need.
I also think that this is a good idea. I think that we can just tag the post with "update" in the tags area. I will get to work on posting a category block in the sidebar.

Yeah. I think this idea would be good also so people don't feel like they are hogging posts when they have another brief update or request. (I feel that way too sometimes probably everyone does?).
I like keeping things technically simple myself... What about just say, every Sunday we do a post called, "Weekly prayer requests/ updates", like I did here) It'll be like a weekly bulletin board... only for post-it size needs/ updates. All Rahab siblings could take turns making the weekly post, or whoever wants to...I don't know... It wouldn't even have to be a post, just a place for the community updates!!

Mike another idea I have is having sibling e-mail addresses on the side bar perhaps for those who want to post theirs...in order to give and receive more personal encouragement... I know, right now I have ideas out the wazoo! : )

Hey Manu! I agree, I love this idea! We should think about doing this, especially on a set day, like on a Sunday or something or at least post it on a certain day or couple of days throughout the week so it will make posting easier. I or someone just has an update or a brief prayer request.... Would Sunday's work for doing this? Any other ideas you have please share with us Manu, I would love to hear!
I will definately keep you covered in prayer as Father gives you the Grace to talk to those who may question or doubt your motives! I know you have a pure heart and so does Father and that is all that counts!
