heeeyyyy, youuuuuu guuuuuuuuyyyyyyyyys!!!!!!!!

Loooong time no talk! probably confused by the profile, but that is my new bloggy name and my new bloggy face in my new bloggy neighborhood. this is jON!!!!!! lots been happening. in fact, my life bears absolutely no resemblance whatsoever to my life the last time we spoke. which is a VERY VERY good thing. i cannot believe or contain all of the blessings that are being poured out on us right now. but i don't have time. busy job, busy family (we just bought a house!!!!!), and the rest is being eaten up by my new bloggy life. i tumbled down the rabbit hole into another neighborhood filled with women who are absolutely addicted to the Twilight books, movies, and actors contained therein. Not my cup of tea, but Erin(my wife) introduced me to them and I got sucked back into (blog). Now, tonight, at midnight American Central Standard time I will be launching my blog The Hubtard live for the first time and wanted to invite you all to drop by and check out the fun. I have been posting little pop culture clips for the past month but tonight is my first real post. It will certainly be something else... compared to something else... but i would love to have you all over again. so, if you've got nothing better to do and poking yourself in the eye with a stick is out, maybe you'll want to pop in and see what's up? LOVE to hear from all of you again!!!!

here's the link: The Hubtard

love you all and hope that life has been just as kind to you and yours as it has to me and mine.

I think you enjoy being enigmatic, Mr. Pantz!

Good to see you and glad all is well, but wth with not letting any of your *old* friends know where you were before now? Huh? ;)

And, your kids are getting so big!

I don't really have a spare thought for the whole Twilight thing (and yes I read the books. Meh.) but I will check in from time to time to see how you are. How about that?

What does "hubtard" mean? Or is that just another enigma?

Erin!!!!! GREAT to see you!!!! OF COURSE i dig being the enigmatic Mr. Pantz!

It's kind of a strange little world that wouldn't interest you one bit. But now that I am going to have another blog of my own again OF COURSE i want my best bloggy friends along for the ride!!!! show these twifolk what REAL bloggers are like... ;)

yes, the kids ARE getting big!!! i plan to blog about hem often. they are so beautiful. especially rowyn. now that she's 3 and beginning to put sentances together, i'm toast. she's already as crafty as a 16 youth group kid trying to get to the after prom parties. what is it going to be like when she's actually 16? LOL.

good. please don't waste another thought on twilight. i'm not interested at all. that has nothing to do with my blog. my blog will be the next evolution for me. exfoliations was me shedding the layers. something else... was me trying to figure out, "well, if i know what i DON'T believe, what DO i believe?"

The Hubtard is the next step from that. What am I going to do out in the world now that i know who i am and how i feel?

And, btw, The Hubtard is a "term of endearment" that some of the women call their husbands in Twitardia (name of the blogging "land" i've been wandering in) Erin (my Erin) found them because she IS Twi-tarded and thought i would like the ladies. they are very cool and funny but i don't care about Twilight or Rob Pattinson. made no bones about that. just enjoy the connecting and baking my head about the existential nature of the universe and spiritual forces and the interconnectedness of all things and really funny, vulgar stuff thrown in for good measure. you know... the usual from me... :)

so good to see you!!!!!!!

Well well...it's the Mad Hatter back again! We've missed you.

I'm not at all surprised you've been off philandering in blogland. You always get on the with ladies.

I'm sure I'll get sucked into your vortex... if I can stomach your twistedness that is. What are you serving up for refreshments on opening day?

Good to hear you and your family are doing well!

@Barry- awesome!!! glad you're willing to read. love it if you are given he inspiration to jump into the pool and add some comments though, too. you know me. *points at self* comment whore over here. :)

@Ruth- yes, yes. except it was the mad hatter who did the tumbling this time. honestly i don't think many of them know what has hit them. not because i'm trying, but in their eyes i'm still the newbie. so they don't understand the sheer transparancy and openness of the comments i make, not to mention my skills in communicating myself effectively through blog. nor the relentless playfulness i exude in the blogosphere.

in reality, many of them have been blogging for a year or less. i have only been back in the blogosphere for about 2-3 months now. many don't realize that my blogger resume goes back almost 5 years.

and if you want to know what i'm serving for snacks... my welcome post (which is what is up now, had over 45 posts so far though...more on that later) contains some spinach artichoke dip with bagel bites, chocolate covered potato chips, doritos & cottage cheese... just a few. you'll have to read if you want to know the rest. :)

@ALL- are you interested? would you like some background on my adventures here? i just didn't want to gank the kitchen and be all blah blah all over. you may have forgotten the word vomit problem i have which has only increased with age... let me know and i'll make another post here complete with fun links! i can let you in on what i've truly got going on here and you can decide if that sounds like something you want to hang around. certainly a different crew in Twitardia. :)

love you all, so good to stretch out here in this space again. felt so strange having to leave it so soon after it was built. but i am around now and as many as are interested, perhaps not what it was before, i want to reconnect some lost connections that were very dear to me and had to be put down for a while.

now... who's making coffee? if i recall, i think it's your turn, nate. :)

Hit us with your best shot, Jon. I visited your blog and can't say that I really have any remote clue what it's all about. Elaboration would be good.

sweet!!!! just didn't know if you'd be interested. glad you are!!!

ummm. i'm kind of used to it by now so i forgot to mention it. this neighborhood is one filled with women who are addicted to emtional and real porn writing, as well as pictuers of Twilight celebs (Rob Pattinson, Kellan Lutz, Jackson Rathbone) as a means of "escape" or as some have called it, their "hidey hole" from troubled relationships. not EVERYONE. in fact the ones i am closest to are ones who have stronger marriages.

but some of the things that you read, one post comes to mind in praticular, may be a little shocking to more delicate sensibilities. ok. a LOT bit more shocking. to the point of nothing you have read from me before. all was done with guidance and purpose. but i'll get to that.

i'll be back later tonight after my long day and give you a full blown post and catch you up. i'm sooooo excited!!!!

@Erin - HEY!!!!!!! i totally didn't even put 2&2 together until just now. there is a gathering being organized right now for the Mecca trip to Forks (the town Twilight is set in) this 9/30-10/3. My Erin and I are going to be there. So... if i am finally going to be that close to YOU and we don't meet halfway in Seattle one of those afternoons for coffee or 12 shots or something i think i'll need to punch someone in the throat. not you of course. :)

having 9 stores to take care of and a family who just closed on our first house last friday leaves me with precious little time to proofread. i hope you can see through typos... :)

@ALL- as i sit down to write a post about this, i begin to realize that this is actually a detailed story and it will take me a little bit of time to get my ducks in a row and gather everything if i'm going to do this right. so give me a couple of days. i will be back. promise.

and ruth, i'll even bring something to eat.

no doughnuts, though. we all know that michelle swipes them. :)

i just missed you all so much. i missed this space. while i don't think it will ever be what it was for the brief time that it was what it was, i still miss you all and value the friendship and connection we shared and was hoping to sit in this space again for awhile.

also, it's been a little over a year since i felt like i had something inspired to say here. honestly, it was good that the promotion happened when it did because i had kind of solved all of my questions and didn't have a lot to say anymore. it was time to go out and live what i had been talking about.

now, i come bearing a blogging tale. a tale that is not over yet but i think only beginning. and i thought you, some of my best bloggy friends, whether or not you actually feel led to join in the fray, would be interested in witnessing.

see? that's just the background on the story and look at how long that was. :) (you remember what it was like talking to me, right? *blushing*)

so like i said... i will be back.

much love.

Hi Jon!!!!!!!!!
um, yeah. I'm kind of brain-fried right now so there is no way I could follow all this...
but I do know about lots of moms in the mom's group I joined that are OBSESSED with all things Twilight (several confess on the message board of their serious crush on what's his name.... (i really don't know)). The message board is...well, lets just say stressed out mommas will vent and share about everything and anything there...!

so... best to you... will stop by your new place every now and again smarty pantz!
