I've heard of apples to apples, but never played. I was wondering what it was? Will have to check it out. Games are fun... Life was one of my favorites as a child. It would get deadly-competitive when I played with my brother, though : D!
Now I like word games... like scrabble or tabboo (guys usually hate tabboo!)

apples 2 apples is a very simple game of adjectives and nouns. it is much easier to play than to explain.
the judge sets out an adjective, and each player plays a noun, trying to get the judge to pick their noun, so that then they can be judge for the next round and choose the next adjective.
i think we'll probably pick up again after the new year...
